About the Symposium

We are delighted to host the 3rd Annual Chicago Sports Psychology and Injury Symposium. Attendance in 2022 reached unexpected heights at 140 up from 111 in 2021. Individuals participated from 13 countries. We had a top quality presenter panel and this year we expect as good.

This year we focus on:

Pain management

Athlete injury & suicide ideation

Consulting skills

All the individuals involved in this symposium have donated time, energy, expertise, and resources to share their knowledge and experience. This event would not have been possible without CAHS friends organizing, facilitating, presenting, and the support of Dr. Tappenden, Head of the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition, current students, and UIC alumni.
